RACE RECAP

Apalachee Season Opener, Winder GA

The War Eagles got off to a great start with the Apalachee season opener. The weather was great and not too humid for August (yay!). The course set up had a start that went from really wide to really narrow. It then ran past the back of the football bleachers which made for a great view of all the runners as they stampeded to be the first ones into the narrow stretch.

 

The kids did a great job as you’ll see in the team and individual results below.
